To commemorate the 2014 World MS Day, themed ‘Access’, the HKMSS conducted a ‘Socioeconomics Survey’ on MS patients and presented the findings during a press conference on 15 June 2014. At the press conference, our President, Dr. KL Shiu highlighted that a majority of MS patients were in their prime years, and many suffered from employment issues following the diagnosis of MS. Dr. Richard Li of our Council gave an introduction to MS, and an MS patient, Mrs. Si, also shared her true experience with the media.
