On 9 October 2021, the HKMSS held a Webinar titled ‘Expanded Roles of MRI in Multiple Sclerosis Therapy’. It was chaired by our president Dr. WK Cheng, and our invited overseas speaker was Dr. Adil Javed from the University of Chicago, USA.
Dr. Javed started with an introduction to the evolving role of MRI in MS management over the years. He then focused on the latest developments and its importance as an emerging biomarker in many aspects of MS including functional status and cognitive decline. Participants were keen during the Q&A session, and Dr. Javed kindly addressed the queries.
