On 18 July 2025, the HKMSS collaborated with the Hong Kong Neuro-ophthalmology Interest Group to organize a scientific symposium titled ‘Optic Neuritis: Seeing the Signs and Understanding the Treatment’.
After the opening remarks by Dr. Jessica Li, our current president, Prof. Jeffrey Bennett from the University of Colorado, USA, gave a talk on Optic Neuritis, focusing on its clinical manifestations and importance in the management of CNS demyelinating diseases.
There were then 3 local share sharings, which were given by Dr. Wai-Yan Lam of Grantham Hospital, Dr. Pui-Hung Ho of Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, and Dr. Jason Wong of Prince of Wales Hospital. The sharing was followed by a fruitful panel discussion chaired by Dr. Jessica Li and Dr. Bik-Ling Man.
