On 13 June 2020, the HKMSS organized its first ZOOM Webinar titled ‘Asian Perspectives on MS Challenges: NMO and Highly Active Disease’, which was chaired by our President, Dr. Richard Li. We were honored to have Prof. Jin Nakahara from the Keio University School of Medicine, Japan, to share his experience with us. Prof. Nakahara first spoke on the importance of ‘Differential Diagnosis of MS and NMOSD’, followed by the logistics and complications of using Natalizumab in treating highly active MS patients. Our council members Dr. Winnie Wong and Dr. Stephen Cheng then shared two local difficult-to-manage cases, and received valuable advice from Prof. Nakahara.
Our Webinar garnered more than 60 participants. We would like to thank Prof. Nakahara and all our participants for making this first mode of scientific meeting a success!
