The HKMSS took part in the 35th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Hong Kong Neurological Society, and hosted an MS and Neuroimmunology Symposiumon 15 Nov 2022. The event took place at the JW Marriott Hong Kong.
Cognitive impairment of MS patients
During the MS Symposium, which was chaired by council members Dr. KL Shiu and Dr. WT Wong, we were honored to have Prof. Ralf Gold from Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany, enlighten us on ‘Cognitive impairment of MS patients’. He illustrated how Siponimod may be of benefit to patients with SPMS.
Clinical features and Immunology underlying Autoantibody-mediated diseases
Next, during the Neuroimmunology Symposium, which was chaired by council members Dr. Stephen Cheng and Dr. Jessica Li, we had the honour to hear from Prof. Sarosh Irani, who spoke about ‘Clinical features and Immunology underlying Autoantibody-mediated diseases’.
